Dudu Pukwana - Diamond Express - Freedom JP 1978 NM/VG+
0 €
Recorded in 1975. Accustomed to the free and avant-garde scene, the South-African saxophonist gets here into a funkier mood. Well assisted by his compatriots Ernest Mothole (electric bass) and Louis Moholo (percussions), as well as the English Keith Tippett on the keyboard, Pukwana distils an irresistible groove. Not to mention that this is one of the very last recordings of Mongezi Feza, a great trumpet player who left earth much too soon only aged thirty... Must here. This is the first Japanese press with insert and obi.
