Quatuor pour la fin du temps is a musical work in eight movements by Olivier Messiaen for violin, cello, clarinet and piano. It is composed in homage to the angel who announces the end of time. Messiaen uses also Greek and Hindu rhythms, bird songs, musical transposition of colors, to comment musically his theological thought.
