Vladimir Vissotski - Le vol arrêté - Le Chant du Monde FR 1981 1st press NM/VG+

35 €
Initially an actor, who became a singer somewhat by chance, the Russian Vladimir Vissotski,  who had a tense relationship with the communist regime, became a very popular voice through his songs (often censored in his country), which were discovered by secretly exchanging his first tapes. Married to the French great actress Marina Vlady, he had the opportunity to travel around the world where he made his music known and became the voice of his people. His music is full of Slavic influence, sometimes reminiscent of gypsy jazz. His guitar technique is reminiscent of Georges Brassens. Finally, his deep voice testifies to his abuse of cigarettes and alcohol... A great record. Cover is EX with lyrics sheet attached inside.
